How to Create a Title in Swiftly Workspace
Step 1: Accessing the Title Configuration
- Open Swiftly Workspace.
- From the homepage:
Click on Configuration
- Then click on Master Data Management
- A new window will pop up.
- Under the Contacts section, click on Title.
Step 2: Understanding the Purpose
We create titles in Swiftly Workspace to personalize messages, emails, and even formal letters. Titles help you maintain consistency and professionalism in your communication.
Step 3: Creating a Title
- To add a new title: Click the “+” button at the top right.
- In the new screen, enter the title you want to create.
- You can also choose whether the title will be active immediately after creation.
- This flexibility allows you to set up titles in advance and only activate them once your team or organization is ready. In this example, we will not activate the title immediately.
Click Save once you’re done.
Step 4: Editing and Activating a Title
- To make changes later:
- Click on the title you created.
- This will open the detail/edit view.
Here, you can toggle the Active parameter. Click Save to confirm your changes.
💡 Tip: If you use Save & Close, the Master Data Management window will close. Only use this once you’re completely done with your changes.
Step 5: Reviewing Title History
- To view the history of changes:
Click the (i) button in the top right.
- This opens the logs panel, where you can see:
Who created the title and when Who last changed it and when and below, a full history of all log entries.
You’ve now successfully:
Created a new title
Edited and activated it
Reviewed its change logs
