How to Create Addresses in Swiftly Workspace
Step 1: Accessing the Customer List
Let’s begin by navigating to the customer list:
From the homepage of Swiftly Workspace
Click on Sales
Then select Customer List
This is where all your customer records are stored and managed.
Step 2: Opening or Creating a Customer
You can either:
Click on an existing customer to update their address
or
Click the “+” button at the top right to create a new customer
Once inside the customer detail view, scroll to the Addresses section to begin adding an address.
Step 3: Adding an Address
Click “+ Add Address” and complete the following fields:
Standard Address Fields:
Street – The name of the street (e.g., Rue du Trône)
Number – The street number (e.g., 98)
Optional:
Box – Box number if applicable (e.g., Box 12)
Building – Building name or number (e.g., Trinity Tower)
Department – Department, unit, or floor information (e.g., Floor 3, Finance Dept.)
Location Information:
Postal Code – Numeric postal identifier (e.g., 1050)
Town – A smaller locality if applicable (e.g., Watermael-Boitsfort)
Postal Town – For postal-routing-specific cases (e.g., Bruxelles 5)
City – The municipality or city (e.g., Ixelles)
Country – Selected from a predefined country list (e.g., Belgium)
Additional Context:
Observations – Notes or special instructions relevant to this address
(e.g., “Deliveries only between 9am–3pm” or “Reception on second floor”)
Step 4: Enabling Geocoding
Once the address fields are filled out:
Click “Geo-code Address”
The system will generate map coordinates and center the view on the provided address
If the address is not correctly placed:
You can drag and drop the pin to adjust the geolocation manually
This ensures accuracy for routing, territory planning, and future integrations.
Geocoding is especially useful for delivery services, field teams, and territory mapping.
Step 5: Saving the Address
Once everything is filled in and geocoded:
Click Save to store the address
The address will now appear in the Addresses section of the customer record
You can add multiple address types per customer — such as:
Billing address
Shipping address
Head office
Or any custom type you need
Step 6: Reviewing or Editing an Address
To make changes:
Click on the address entry
The detail/edit view will open
You can update fields, re-geo-code, or adjust the map pin as needed
Click Save when you’re done.
You’ve now successfully:
Navigated to the customer list
Created or opened a customer
Added a full address with all relevant details
Geocoded the location and adjusted the map pin
Saved and reviewed the address for use
