Navigate to Swiftly Workspace.
Step 2: What Are Task Tags?
Task Tags are customizable labels that can be applied to tasks, helping you visually classify and group them across different workflows.
Why use Task Tags?
Enhance visibility by color-coding tasks
Track statuses such as In Progress, Pending Review, Urgent
Organize workload by theme, department, or workflow
Simplify searching and filtering of task lists
Improve clarity during project coordination and task handoffs
Step 3: Creating a New Task Tag
To add a new tag:
Click the “+” Add button at the top-right of the Task Tags panel.
A modal will appear prompting you to fill out the tag details.
Fill in the following fields:
Active: Toggle this ON if the tag should be usable immediately
Name: Type in the name of the tag
👉 Example: “Urgent” or “QA Required”
Color: Choose from the available color palette
👉 Examples: Red for Urgent, Green for Complete, Blue for Info
Click Save to finalize your new tag.
Step 4: Managing Task Tags
Once created, tags can be:
Assigned to tasks within project boards, tickets, or cases
Filtered or searched to narrow down specific workflows
Edited at any time to rename or change colors
Deactivated by toggling off the Active switch (useful for phasing out obsolete tags without deleting them)
